I’ve seen a blue Optima running around my town, I’ve always been partial to black vehicles, but Optimus pull the blue off really well

@Jason
My old one made it to 155 thousand miles, even after I hit a snowbank in it. This one is going to be very well taken care of. She just got new tires and an oil change
Because I don’t know how to edit my post on mobile: this is technically my second car, but my first that is legally mine. I’m 19 and my first car was my mom’s old car that she let me drive. It was also an Optima lol, 2013 though
Nice! Get a steering wheel holder or something cause it’ll get stolen

It might be the push start one
Congratulations, good luck with her
Congrats
Enjoy!! My K5 ‘Neicho’ says hello .
Congrats my 2024 black beauty soul says Good Luck!!
Congratulations
Congratulations!! I’ve had my 2017 EX for almost 3 years. One thing I can tell you is to definitely keep an eye on the oil level. I have to top mine up about once a week. Seems to run okay as long as you keep the oil topped up and keep up with regular maintenance. So happy for you .
This is very inspirational! I am praying for my dream car at the moment, a Kia K5. I hope I can be like you! Thanks for sharing
Congrats on the car! Kia’s have treated me well. I had a 2015 Optima in Smokey blue, then a 2016 Optima EX in gray, then a 2018 Soul in Caribbean blue and now a 2024 Seltos in Dar ocean blue. They will treat you well if you maintain them. The reason I’ve been through so many is cause I commute a lot and they were all high-mileage trade-ins
Nice, hopefully it doesn’t have the same issue as mine where the engine starts to burn oil. I’ve got three cases of oil in my tank. After every 425 miles I have to top off the engine with a quart of oil. I always changed the oil when it was due at 3k miles. Sometimes I’d go over maybe 500 or 600 miles before changing the oil, but it should have been fine since this was when my engine was fairly new. My car is a 2013 Kia Optima EX with 134,000 miles and it burns oil from full to low every 800-850 miles. Still love my car. It has never broken down on me. Kinda its way of saying thanks for keeping up with maintenance
@PoshMan
I have the same exact situation with a 2019 Optima 60k on the engine

Same, wife’s car was a 2012 Optima. It started burning a ton of oil. We bought a Toyota Grand Highlander on Friday.
@PoshMan
It’s your piston rings, my 2013 Optima LX had the same issue, it started coming out my exhaust

Did the dealer take care of it?
