Good evening…
I’m feeling pretty frustrated right now. I got my Niro back in 2022 when the car market was a mess, and now I’m regretting it. My car is worth about half of what I owe on it, and when I went to the Hyundai dealership, they said the only way out is to pay over $1,000 a month. It really sucks seeing how much my car’s value has dropped.
If you bought a car in 2022, are you in the same boat? How are you handling it? Any advice or similar stories would be super helpful.
Your help will be appreciated greatly…
Absolutely, many people are frustrated by car depreciation. It’s a normal and understandable reaction. Cars are a big investment, and watching their value drop over time can be really disheartening.
Depreciation is just a fact of owning a car, much like how electronics and other assets lose value over time.
While depreciation is a downside, owning a car provides convenience, transportation, and other benefits that can outweigh the financial loss.
There are ways to slow down depreciation, like keeping your car well-maintained, limiting mileage, and avoiding accidents.
