Fuck me, my insurance is 3200 USD yearly for great coverage. (Radar detector is a must to keep those rates in this car)

Thanks! Tbh the front bumper is about 2 inches lower so I back in almost all the time because the front lip catches on almost every curb, never had an issue with the exhaust clearing the curb either

Good points. I back in just because I can line up better horizontally with the rear camera and I like being able to just pull out. Never really thought about the bumper height difference.

You seem like you are financially literate. Hopefully, you are applying some of that ‘car payment’ money to investments or savings.

Oh buddy, I just came up so fat on XRP, flipped profits into a down payment for a house for me and my wife, paid off the car and paid off both credit cards she and I had. The road to financial literacy and adjacent freedom is bumpy but it starts by being as close to debt free as you can be. Shit just adds up.
Live within your means but for the love of God, do nice things for yourself to make the hard choices now worth it.
