Anyone else into blacking out their K4? Thoughts?

I used to have a 2021 Kia Sportage and always thought Kias weren’t for me… but the K4 completely changed my mind. Now I’m all in on it.

That’s a good-looking car. The DRLs really stand out whenever I see one on the road.

I think it looks great, but I’m not a fan of how the back looks.

Totally get that. I think the K5 has a way better-looking back end compared to the K4.

The K4 looks amazing. Hope it becomes really popular… it’s one of the best-looking cars for the price.

Exactly… it’s crazy how affordable the base model is, and honestly, I feel way safer buying a brand-new car straight from the dealership than any used car. Plus, it’s loaded with great features for the money.

This is exactly what I’ve been wanting… it looks so good.

Have you tried using autopilot in stop-and-go traffic on the freeway? I did, and it works really well. It doesn’t keep bugging you to pay attention like my old Tesla Model 3 did. It just keeps a safe distance and speeds up or slows down as needed. It’s like it drives itself when traffic’s heavy.

@Zara
I use it on my 30-minute freeway commute, and it’s a lifesaver. Coming from a car where lane assist was practically useless, it feels like pure luxury.

That’s exactly what I’m talking about. I drove a Tesla Model 3 for years and loved autopilot, but this one’s even better since it doesn’t keep reminding you to pay attention. I’m about to take a 700-mile road trip soon… looking forward to seeing how it holds up. And yeah, being able to just fill up with gas instead of stopping to charge is a huge plus. The K4 really makes sense for the price.

@Zara
Filling up in the city only costs me around $40 or even less, depending on the station, and I get about 41 mpg. That alone convinced me to get it. It’s great hearing from someone who’s actually used both cars that the autopilot is better on the K4… makes me feel like I made the right choice.

@oliviamartin
Same here… I’m getting around 41 to 48 mpg too. Plus, the back seats are way more spacious, kind of like an Accord. Way better than my old Model 3, which felt cramped in the back. Honestly, it’s the perfect car for commuting… better than a Civic or Corolla and way more affordable than an Accord.

Personally, I’d get some silver rims to make the black pop even more. Looks sick though.

I’ve been thinking about that too. The stock rims are okay, but they’re not really my thing. Thanks for the suggestion!

What kind of wheels are those? I’m looking to upgrade my Forte’s stock rims.

Aren’t those just the stock wheels?

Yeah, they’re the GT Line stock wheels.

That looks so good… I’m inspired to black out my Sportage too.

Start with plasti dipping the emblems… it’s super easy to do.

How do you do that exactly?
