We decided to go for a Sportage EX yesterday on New Year’s Eve. Got it for $28K with only a $129 doc fee added. Feels like we got a pretty good deal. Loving it so far .
That’s a solid price and it’s a great car. Congrats and enjoy it.
I sell Kias in Virginia. That’s not bad at all.

Out of curiosity, what’s the best deal you’ve seen for one?

I’m not sure if it’s the best deal, but I managed to get an EX on Dec 20 for $27K before fees and taxes. MSRP was $31.8K, got $1500 from Kia, and $3200 off from the dealership. Taxes are 7% here in GA, and doc fee was $800, so OTD was $29.9K.
@KIADOC
That’s a really good deal! Nicely done.
Yours sounds great too. Enjoy! If you find any must-have add-ons, let me know. I already ordered a wireless adapter so we don’t have to plug in our phones.

With how unreliable Kias can be, no deal feels like a win for the buyer.

Love the black colour, but we went for grey silver to get a better deal. Still, the ‘25 EX looks great in any shade.

How’s your mileage? I got the same in black two days ago, but the miles seem to drop faster than I drive. Maybe it’s the cold or just the car settling in.
Was it $28K OTD?

It was $28,129, with $129 being the doc fee. Taxes here in Arkansas are paid at the DMV, so that’s separate. No hidden fees. The car had been on their lot for over 3 months, which probably helped us negotiate.
@Jane
Still a great deal. I got a ‘23 EX last year in Chicago for $34K OTD. It’s such a good value for the price.

Thanks, we’re really enjoying it. We’ve had a 2020 Optima SE that’s been great, so we decided to stick with Kia. We looked at the Sorento but couldn’t justify $40K for the trim we liked. This is just the right size for our family of 3.
Congrats on the new car! Sportage is an awesome choice.

We felt the same. Couldn’t see spending more for the extras on the SX, but we’re really happy with the features on the EX.
Here’s what I got for mine.

That’s an amazing price! We didn’t try negotiating on that trim, but we’re happy we got the EX down to what we did.
