My dealership’s been great. They replaced my engine at 90,000 miles, but now I’m dealing with a battery drain and a bad water pump. Luckily, the extended warranty covers it all. I’m almost ready to ask for a new car though.
I hope I didn’t sound too negative earlier. I think I just got a bad one. You’ll probably be fine!
This isn’t the 2024 model. It’s a 2021 model.
I had a Kia Sportage with 48k miles blow a head gasket. It’s been two months, and they’re still replacing the engine and radiator.

Wow, that’s rough. Was it brand new, or did you get a used one with hidden problems?

Do you know if the timing belt or chain broke?
@Harris
They didn’t say, but it seems like the fluids mixed—oil and radiator coolant.

Oh no… I just got a Sportage this month. I hope I don’t face the same issues.
I’ve had two Kias and went through five engines. I won’t buy another one.

Wow, five engines? That’s rough. Sorry you had such a bad experience.
