I bought my first car about a month ago and I’m not really into it yet. What features do you think I should check out? Here’s a picture of what I got.
I love the bird’s eye camera for parking. It makes it so much easier to park perfectly in the lines.

Honestly, that’s the feature that made me decide on this model. For such a big car, you need that kind of camera.
What about it isn’t working for you?

The gas mileage for one. Also, Apple CarPlay has been a pain. I got a wireless adapter, but the screen keeps freezing, and I can’t use any buttons. I do like the black-on-black look and the third-row comfort, though. I don’t hate it, but I’m just not in love with it yet.
@GuyBolding
Have you tried using CarPlay with a wired connection? I use it wired and have no issues, so the adapter might be the problem. As for gas mileage, it’s a three-row SUV, so it’s not going to be amazing. Most of its competitors are about the same unless they’re hybrids.

I have a 2024 model and I’ve never managed to get a wireless adapter to work. What am I doing wrong?

Wireless CarPlay isn’t available on this model yet.
I’ve got the 2024 SX Prestige X-Line in the same color with tan interior, and I’m obsessed with it. You’ll come around!
I think it’s one of the best-looking cars out there, especially when it’s all blacked out. The panoramic touchscreen, blindspot cameras, parking assist, sunroofs—they’re all great.

What’s the parking assist like? I haven’t tried it yet.

It looks good for its price range, but if we’re being honest, an all-black X5 or GLS looks better. Of course, they cost a lot more.
Same here—black SX Prestige X-Line with tan interior. I love it. I’ve plasti-dipped the silver emblems and added some subwoofers to improve the sound. Thinking of adding running boards next. Gas mileage isn’t great, but I prefer the V6 over the four-cylinder turbos everyone else is doing.
I’ve got a 2024 SX Prestige X-Pro and I love it so much. I’ve tinted the windows, got roof rack bars, weather mats for the floors and trunk, and some running boards. The features are amazing—bird’s eye view, wheel-side cameras, all the safety stuff, and the auto-braking for potential collisions. Oh, and when you reverse, the side mirrors tilt down to show the curb.
@TurboSoulMate
I don’t think my mirrors tilt when I reverse. Did I turn off the feature? Or maybe I just haven’t noticed.

The mirror adjustment switch has to be set to either the left or right. If it’s in the middle, the mirrors won’t tilt.

Yeah, the mirror controls need to be on one side or the other for that feature to work. I agree, it’s weird—it feels natural to leave it in the middle, but then the mirrors won’t tilt.
You should check out some YouTube videos. Most people don’t want to read the manual, which is fine. Watching videos will give you a quick overview of the features and how to use them.
