Hallo…
We just snagged a used 2023 Kia Sorento, and one of the reasons we bought it was that it was made in December 2023. Now that we’ve got it, I’m wondering how normal it is for cars to be put together so late in the model year.
Is it pretty typical for manufacturers to finish up cars this late in the game? I’m guessing it might have something to do with the supply chain issues we’ve all been hearing about. Also, if it was built so late, does that mean any recalls or problems were probably fixed at the factory?
In anticipation…
if you bought a 2023 Kia Sorento that was put together towards the end of the year, it was probably produced using standard production procedures.
There can occasionally be a small overlap between the conclusion of one model year and the start of the next.
This may occur when manufacturers update or modify a model somewhat.
Car models are frequently built well into the year, sometimes even after the start of the new model year.
Why dont u go and approach the manufacturing plant they are in the best position to advice u on it and how to proceed
